Aben maler is a small Danish publishing company devoted to putting out books of quality.

We have published Danish editions of books by Daniel Clowes, Tom Gauld & Simone Lia, Edward Gorey, James Kochalka, Anders Nilsen, Bryan Lee O’Malley, Ron Regé Jr., Chris Ware and Jim Woodring, as well as From Wonderland with Love, a collection of some of the best Danish comics from the past decade, co-published with Fantagraphics, and other books by Danish authors.

Twice a year Aben maler publishes four booklets in the 676 series of original Danish comics. Translations are available for all of them.
